Has anyone had problems coming off valproic acid
The meds was prescribed for manic episodes, but they increased the episodes, the person is slowly decreasing the dose but is showing signs of anxiey, extreme headaches, manic episodes, the doc said the meds were creating more problems and to ween off them

Are you stopping this med completely or are they substituting another seizure med for this one? When coming off, usually they titrate the dose down and down until you are off and it usually does not cause many symptoms if done this way.
