okay so im taking lamictal low dose and i just started i know that a severe sore throat but no rash is just something you have to deal with but what can i do to ease the pain of the sore throat?! Its killing me!!!!!
Gargling with salt water sometimes helps to ease the pain. Choloreseptic or another throat numbing spray. maybe you need to speak to your doctor about the pain.
Sometimes, sore throat is associated with dry mouth, which is a side effect of lamictal. You can address this symptom by promoting salivary flow in the mouth like sucking on sugar-free candy (ordinary candy may also do the trick) and keeping your mouth moist by drinking lots of water.
