Lyrica and Cymbalta for fibromyalgia
I have been taking Lyrica for fibromyalgia for about 6 months now. I do not feel any better. My doctor has just put me on Cymbalta to help with it too. Has anyone had any relief taking these meds together? I just don't want to pollute my body for nothing.

Also I have hypothyroidism and was thinking that the symptoms I am having are thyroid related. I asked my Doc about being put on Cytomel because while my TSH is normal (it was 243.42), my T-3 is low and always has been, but he said the Cytomel won't help because my pain is from fibromyalgia. Any input on either concern would be great.
I take Levothyroxine .3 for my hypothyroidism (Hashimoto's).

There are 4 Versions of Fibromyalgia. One is Thyroid/Temperature. Test your temperature - is it 98.6? If not, adjust Thyroid meds.

On

www.FibroFix.com

(all free site) the "TREATMENT" page tells what type meds and when we use to relieve ALL symptoms of Fibromyalgia.

Common over the counter meds combined with essential tricks and tips.

If you understand what Fibromyalgia actually is, and how to test, (and aren't just trying to sell a pill for it) it's not that hard to deal with.

We don't take Lyrica or Cymbalta.

The truth will set you free.

its quite possible that you don't have fibro at all--you are right that the symptoms may be your thyroid problems

most docs are completely ncomptant whenit comes to fibro--diagnosisng any pain as fibro--either they are too lazy to look for the true cause or they just use it as a general term for teh pain of anotehr condition (such as thyroid)

iti s its own conditon-not a general term for pain
