Valproic acid and pregnancies?
How many of you ladies are taking valproic acid for a seizure and are or plan on becoming pregnant?
Valproic acid can cause birth defects... If you knew this would you still take it?

According to wikipedia "In about 5% of pregnant users, valproic acid will cross the placenta and cause congenital anomalies." Of course, no one would want to take such risk.
