keppra & phenytoin please help??
ok so i used to take keppra and phenytoin i cant remember if my doctor had me ont he phenytoin and keppra at the same time because he was trying to take me off the phenytoin and onto the keppra but either way when i took them the same time i felt like almost drunkish.. like dizzy and stumbly and just light headedly weird and stuff.. was it because i took them together or does just taking either too much of one or the other make u feel like that? cuz i was on like 3 a day of the keppra and 3 a day of the phenytoin.. so was it beacuse i took them together or is it just that if u take that many it makes u feel that way just beacuse thats what each of them do?

It might be because you took them together. It could also be general side affects. I was on meds about 2 months ago, and they made me feel the exact same way, dizzy, drunk-like, and out-of-it. I call the pharmasist and he said that's normal on most medication. He suggested (if your allowed food with the medicine) to eat a meal.. it will help the pill digest better and cause less side affects. If you have questions about doses I would call just to make sure... but I think your fine. I had the same exact thing on medication.
