is prozac stonger than lexapro?? I know lexapro is newer and the doeasge is less, so if you need a higher doe
if you need a higher does is prozac a better choice? my doc will only perscribe 20mg of lexapro.

different drugs have different strenghs and work better on some individuals than others. your doctor will aim for the lowest effective dosage of what works best for you. this may take trial and error before a compatible medicine is found to help you. whether one is stronger than another is not as important as finding the right one.

id say theyre about equal, though an individual may respond better to one vs the other. 20 milligrams is just the weight of active ingredient, some drugs are more potent than others so if you may need more or less to get a similar effect, so when youre comparing 2 different drugs youre comparing apples to oranges if you are going off of how many mg it is alone.
