is citalopram the same as yaz
My doctor gave me citalopram 20 mg for depression.
is this also genaric for yaz birth controal?

No, Citalopram is generic for Celexa (an antidepressant).
The generic for Yaz is Drospirenone and Ethinyl Estradiol

no Celexa is the brand name for citaprolam and is a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI). It works by restoring the balance of serotonin, a natural substance in the brain, which helps to improve certain mood problems. Yaz is a combination of progesterone and estrogen which are hormones.
