i'm so scared, its my 3rd day of taking citalopram
i had to my med after breakfast, i took it now im feeling really weird, sleepy.. but when go to sleep start twitching and weird rush of blood all over my body, heart is palpilating, then loose motion.
im feeling like i'm going out of my brains. really scared.
its anxity medication. half tablet of 10 mg for seven days then 1 tablet for 3 months.
its normal to get an increase in anxiety during the first week or so, as your body adapts to your new medication. perhaps this is what you are experiencing, I did when I took citalopram.
i dont want to scare you but GET OFF THE TABS i was on them for panic and anxiety i took them for 6months and they didnt help in the slightest if anything they made me bad they changed me as a person i wouldnt go out i was frail timid the lot they were horrible.. anyway i stupidly decided to just stop taking them myself big mistake i was so ill i had fits migrains sweats everything it was horrible i went to the doctor they told me i had a double wammy of withdrawles and signasitus so he put me on antibiotics for a week luckily that cleared it up.. so please go back to your doctor and tell him u want to come off them... if you need any advice or just to talk email me hach4eva@aol.com xx
