How do you know if you're having withdrawals from Lexapro..
Or if you're just suffering from depression again?

I stopped taking my Lexapro (10mgs) a week ago and I'm been feeling awful since about the third day after I stopped. I just cry at everything - things that are not / have never been REMOTELY emotional to me.

Is this still withdrawal? Or is it my depression coming back?

(And I stopped on doctor's orders, not on my own accord, just so you know.)

Could be a combination of both. I would go back to the doctor to discuss it.

Withdrawal Symptoms From Lexapro
Symptoms of Lexapro withdrawal can include but are not limited to:

Irritability
Agitation
Dizziness
A burning or tingling sensation
Anxiety
Confusion
Headache
Insomnia
Tiredness.

When a person is going to be stopping Lexapro, the doctor will wean him or her off slowly to minimize the chances of developing Lexapro withdrawal symptoms. If symptoms do occur, the doctor may return the person to his or her original Lexapro dosage and then wean him or her off even more slowly.

You need to talk to your doctor about what your feeling and what is going on? I did check and this is the lowest dosage offered so you should call your doctor ASAP!
