Switching from Effexor to Celexa
Does anyone know if it is necessary to gradually wean back from Effexor before switching to Celexa, or can I switch directly from one to the other?

Switching between SSRIs can be done fairly quickly. Clinicians frequently start the new medication while quickly tapering off of the first SSRI. You have to ask your doctor on the proper scheduling and dose adjustment.
