Unfortunately sexual side effects are one of the problems with anti-depressants. Call your doctor and tell him/her the problem you are having and they can either adjust the dosage or try a new medication.

I had that exact same experience with Effexor. Also made me sweat all the time. My doctor switched me to Prozac, and it didn't cause any sexual probs for me.

I can tell you this, coming off it about killed me, I was only on 75 mg a day for 3 months. I cold turkied the Effexor, brain zaps, motion sickness, and everything else, took 3 months to heal, but everyone is different, when I read or hear anyone talk about Effexor, that experience jumps in my mind, so when you come off it, don't cold turkey.
And to your question, yes I had problems with sexual feeling & c.
Maybe you should exchange the Effexor for another med cause mine didn't get any better...
Hope I helped.
Also Celexa helped me.

The side-effects you've listed are interesting. I had those all last week and I was under the impression it was due to the fact that I was depleting (flushing my system then carb-loading) for a photo shoot. I was also coming off of a SSRI (Zoloft) during this period, beginning three weeks ago. I couldn't think straight, I was talking fast, had shaky hands etc. As mentioned in a previous post, the only reason I came off was because of sexual dysfunction.
