Do antidepressants cause risky behaviors?
I am 21 and have recently been taking perscription antidepressants for about one and a half months now. I am feeling much better and I feel like I have so much more control over anxiety. However, lately I have been involved in very risky things and I don't really have any fear of much like I used to have. Risky things such as smoking a LOT more, drinking a much more often, cocaine, marijuana and I'm a lot more agressive with people, sometimes its negative agression. Sp my ques. is this, do anti depressants usually intensify these behavoirs??

When mixed with drugs they can do very very strange things. I'd skip your pill on the day you're going to go party. Talk to your doctor and be honest about what the antidepressant is making you feel. You may need a different drug or dosage. They don't always have the intended affect- I've never heard of them doing that, but it is possible.

RE: Do antidepressants cause risky behaviors?
People who are diagnosed with depression are commonly prescribed an antidepressant medication to help them manage their symptoms. When used in conjunction with other treatments, such as psychotherapy, most people can recover from their depression. This medication is not a cure-all, and they do come with some risks. But even the risks can be negligible when antidepressants are taken under a doctor's strict supervision.
