Is an antidepressant and tranquilizer really safe?
My doctor prescribed me those for three weeks, I'm not really into taking those drugs especially that it has A LOT of side effects, i've read all those adverse reactions and they're kinda scary...
will my body/health will be back to normal again after taking those drugs, coz I'm already experiencing the side effects, and its also depressing. I'm taking these drugs just for the sake of following the doctor's prescription...

Well yes and no. There is always a risk when you start messing with your brain chemistry and drugs should be the next to last resort. Have you tried talk therapy, behavior modification, or simple exercise? Depression is caused by a wide range of things and I think MD's play fast and loose with them without digging in to the root cause of depression. Never stop taking an anti depressant without talking with your Dr. though. There can be very specific down dosing requirements to avoid side effects and pit falls. Talk to your Dr. if you want to get off of these drugs and seek alternate therapies for your depression if you are unable to tolerate the drugs. The drugs are probably not going to cause any long term harm but you can get dependent on them in a manner of speaking in order to control your mood. The only way past an emotion is through it and all these drugs do is mask the way that you are feeling while not resolving any of the issues that cause the problems. Hope this helps. Again don't quit with out talking to your Dr. but the choice is ultimately yours. Your Dr. is not a god.

If the doctor prescibed it then it is relatively safe if the directions he gave are followed. But if you don't like the side affects/can't adjust to the medication in a few weeks you should go back to the doctor and explore other treatments.

If a properly accredited physician feels it's appropriate then I would surmise that it's fine.

If prescribed and the directions of the doctor are followed then yes its safe but, Street drugs and self medicating is dangerous. You need a doctor.
