No. Shrooms contain psilocybin/psilocin which do affect serotonin receptors, but not in the way SSRIs do. SSRIs increases 5-HT (serotonin) production and temporarily stops serotonin from being reabsorbed from the synapse, causing the "euphoric", spacey feeling you may get from an SSRI. Psilocybin has quite a different affect on the serotonin system. Psilocybin is absorbed through the stomach lining and is rapidly dephosphorylated into psilocin and when it reaches the brain, acts as a partial agonist to 5-HTP1A and 5-HTP2A/2C receptors. That generally means that because psilocin is structurally similar to serotonin, it can enter a synapse and be absorbed with the other serotonin out of the synapse. This is what induces hallucinogenic effects.
