Help, my wife is leaving me after being on antidepressants for only 6 weeks.?

My wife, whom is being treated for depression and bipolar disorder for the last six weeks is seeking a divorce.
The real problem here is that she wants to straight up divorce, no marriage counseling, only counseling to have an "amicable"divorce. I think her thoughts are off. The medicines are probably working, but I don't think she's making completely clear decisions right now.
I Think after 5 years of marriage, that she at least owes me 6 months of therapy to to try and level off with the meds, and see a marriage counselor for six months. If she feels the same way after six months, then we divorce.
Can the "in love be rekindled". She says she's no longer "in love with me", but that she loves me like a friend. She says she's not sure if that if "she ever really was in love" with, but I don't believe that for a minute. Iknow that woman was madly in love with me.

They say that marriage is tough and should be worked on especially if the "love" for each other is dwindling. You love your wife but she says she only loves you as a friend... these are actually things that you have to work out between yourselves and a counselor, if possible.

As with antidepressants, what was the reason for her depression? It may be that she is getting feelings of anxiety which may be promoting her lack of feelings for you. Or, there may be other significant reasons and the antidepressants are being used as an excuse. Has she been this way five years ago. Is it just now that she is diagnosed with depression?

I cannot give you any definite solution for this situation. I can only hope that you can work it out between yourselves.
