Does taking antidepressants affect BCP's like Yasmine?
I have been on Prozac for about four years and am desperately not wanting to get pregnant anytime soon. I have also been on Yasmine for about two years.
Anti-depressants could affect the efficacy of your OCP. Ask your gyne for an OCP preparation that will interfere less with your anti-depressant. Oh and you should inform both your psychiatrist and your gyne about taking both medications.
