Being under direct sunlight especially when it is at its strongest is bad, with or without taking antidepressants. But with antidepressants, it can aggravate its effects on the skin. This is seen with tricyclic antidepressants. Should you need a bit of sunshine when feeling depressed, you can go out in the early morning, or late afternoon, or better yet, under a shade or umbrella if in the middle of the day.
Hope this helps.
