Diuretics not working!
My father,90,is suffering from Congestive Heart Failure (CHF).Doctors have suggested Spiromide 40 mg daily. In the beginning it worked very well but since a few weeks it is not properly working and he has got a very bad cough. He has no edema at the moment but cough is very painful.Diuretic makes very little water. Is there any other diuretic which could better replace Spiromide 40 mg?

I'm a heart patient and my doctor prescribed Hydrochlorothiazide. Your father should ask to try something else.
