Has any one got prego while taking lisinopril?? im taking this for diabetes and high blood pressure and my doc told me not to get prego while on lisinopril because it could cause birth defects i dont want to get prego right now im just wondinging about the future wheather or not this could happen.soo let me know

Lisinopril is an ACE inhibitor which is known to cause birth defects. If you are planning on becoming pregnant notify your doc to switch you to another medication that does not harm the fetus. Most physicians will consider terminating a pregnancy if ACE inhibitors were taken - so be careful!

Just to add to what the previous post said, if you are sexually active & is taking lisinopril, use an effective birth control method.
