sweetiypie31 is on a distinguished road
has anyone taken or know anything about lisinopril and hctz for high blood pressure
im almost 33 i am overweight but have always been a i started eating healthier. My blood pressure has always gone up and down sincei had my daughter just recently for the past 4 months my pressure was really good as low 102/77 and that was with no meds just my changes. recently the doctor takes my blood pressure and it was 130/98 he says it is high you should be back on meds the next day i go back to have it recheked and it was fine again and i checked it later on that night and it was still good. I can not see taking meds that coould possible damage my kidneys and i need to take a blood test every 6 months for unless i really need it and i do not think i do. Some background info my dad had high blood pressure and he was diabetic but he also did not take care of himself. So i was wondering what your thoughts are and if there are any natural things i can take or do to help. I know garlic pills i heard and coq 10 i am going to start taking that is there anything else ? thanks

You are still a bit too young to have hypertension, although you may have a higher risk of getting it since your father has hypertension. If you were able to lower your blood pressure to normal levels just by eating healthier, then, just continue on with your healthy lifestyle. I don't think that you really need to take medications yet since your blood pressure isn't really that high and it only happens once in a while. However, just make sure that you continue with a healthy lifestyle. Maybe, you would like to add more physical exercise to burn those calories and lower your weight. this can help a great deal in keeping your blood pressure normal.

You can also try taking garlic pills and such to help keep it down. but the best is always exercise and a proper diet.

Hope this helps.
