Christ is on a distinguished road
is lisinopril 10mg. really important to take to reverse the thickness of ventricular mycardium
a family relative was diagnosed with heart murmur, and we don't know how he got it. the cardiologist recommended stress test. after the results, they found out that his blood pressure was a little high DURING stress testing. it went up to 192 systolic. the Dr. Recommended him to start taking lisinopril 10mg daily. The family is not happy to hear that, because once he starts taking pills, it's a non- ending dr's visits. and they will always find something wrong....Please advise me if it is really important to take those pills. I checked his bloodpressure daily...it's always within normal limit. ..and is stress test accurate? and they can be misleading? please advise

Lisinopril is not just for hypertension. It can also treat other heart problems. You're always free to get a second opinion with another doctor. Regarding the stress test, yes it's an effective way to assess arterial blood flow during exercise (that's why at rest, you get a normal reading upon checking his blood pressure).
