in hypertensives, can i combine dihydropyridine (DHP)calcium channel blockers with non DHP calcium blockers?
if my patients is on ACE inhibitor and amlodipine and the BP is not controlled can add verapamil or diltiazem, please site valid studies. non dhp ccb + dhp ccb is it ok?

There are no exact data with regards to interactions between DHP CCBs and non DHP CCBs. But with regards to mixing both, specifically amlodipine and ciltiazem, there has been no adverse reactions seen. You can check this out...
