Default Anyone taken Lisinipril (ace inhibitor) while breastfeeding

I just had a baby girl and my cardiologist wants me to go back on the ace inhibitor Lisinipril. I was taken off of it as soon as the pregnancy test was positive due to high potential of fetal harm. I was kept on my beta blocker, Toprol, through the whole pregnancy and I still take it now. I see no worry in that due to being on it my whole pregnancy, the doctor saying it is okay, and that I have read page after page of women who breastfed and were on it while pregnant. However, I cannot find anything about Lisinipril being okay or anyone taking it.
    Help if you can!

If it has caused harm during pregnancy, I would think that there may still be a chance that it affects a newborn baby since it may pass through the breast milk. You may want to consider taking alternatives first until after your baby is a bit older.

    Hope this helps.
