Can I now stop ACE Inhibitor all together ?

I was on Atenlol 50mg (beta blocker) once a day and later with addition of Envas5 5mg (Enalarapil - Ace Inhibitor ) twice day - this is since May 2006 - I ws in India then. I am now 39 years old. After relocation to Switzerland in July 2008, and continously observing regulard blood pressure, with low pulse, Atenlol was stopped and Envas reduced to 2.5 mg per day on doctors advice (since BP is now regulated).. it has been 119-76 BP with 68-72 pulse since then. I have now been on 2.5 Mg Envas a day since last 30 days. Will I be taking risk if I stop this 2.5 mg a day all together ( of course with regular walk and weekly once swimming ) ?. Should I slowly reduce (taking 2.5 mg once every two days, then once every three days and then stop ?
