tita19852002 is on a distinguished road
can a patient with colon cancer recieve chemotherapy twice a day
Also are there cases where patients would have to practically live in the hospital to have chemo done?
What are common side effects of chemotherapy?

The number of times chemotherapy is done is dependent on the severity of the cancer. So, if the doctor deems it needed to have two chemotherapies done during the day, then yes, it is possible. Patients often opt to stay at the hospital while having chemotherapy so when any complications occur, medical care is easily given. Also, their condition is easily monitored when in the hospital.

Common side effects of chemotherapy include weakness, nausea, headache, loss of appetite, etc.

Hope this helps.
