SMOKING during CHEMOTHERAPY-does it affect it

I know that smoking is bad for the health and can cause lung cancer but does it affect me in the present....i'm getting ABVD chemotherapy fr hodgkins lymphoma....will smoking affect this therapy in any way.......?

Talk to your oncologist, but it probably will. And try to quit. Don't get treatment and continue to do that.

Studies show that continued nicotine use seriously reduced chemotherapy effectiveness. This even applies to smoking cessation products that contain nicotine.
