Can Leukemia be treated with chemotherapy a week before the patient is supposed to die

How long has the patient had Leukemia for? Is the patient on their death bed? If the answer to my second question is yes then no it's useless there is nothing you can do but make them comfortable and try to keep them company.

Treated? Yes. Successfully? Likely not. Then again, my dad was told he would die within 5 minutes from acute leukemia (twice) and he's still alive and well nearly 30 years later.

im so sorry for the situation. i knw the pain, my little brother just overcome leukemia. i met so many amazing people at the hospital,
im sorry but when its too late, there is not much 2do.
my uncle also recently passed away from lung cancer, unfortunately did not make it,too late.
just make sure the patient has plenty of love in the last days.
