diff.between chemotherapy & target chemotherapy usefulness wise as well as cost wise
my brother has been advised chemtherapy after surgery of his rt.cheek and after radiopathy. which sort of chemo is going to help him we have been told target chemo is exhorbitantly expensive but results are similar. please advice

Target chemotherapy is a newer way of treating certain cancers. The chemo medications are designed to attack the affected areas and not the entire body and are usually easier for the body to tolerate because of fewer side effects. The medications may be more expensive because they are newer and not generic. Chemotherapy is usually very expensive anyway. Just hope you have a good insurance policy!
