cancer question please. If a person has cancer and is currently not undergoing chemotherapy?
can that person have a high tempreture like 102 farenhiet some of the time? Because when it feels like just a virus or something you then find out it is not. Is this the bodys way of trying to fight the cancer but having a bit of a fever? Please everyone please try and answer this question and if there is doctors in here that will be great. Thanks all.
to Euro ninja I think I got it right I did consult the doctor, and said I do not have a virus. The tempreture is of and on. and I am just needing advice here

when person is having chemotherapy for cancer after the first round of chemo few days later the side effects start so the temperature of person is checked regurarly. if the termperature is high that means the person might have picked up an infection if temp is 38c it is high but if it is higher it can be dangerous and lifethreatning. but don't worry if the person is in hospital temperature will be checked often and if at home you will get instruction how often to check temperature. temperature is still high 38c or higher whether you having chemo or not. go to the doctor if you do.
