is there a warning about sunbathing during chemotherapy?

specifically a person in chemo (lymphoma)..and having a history of breast cancer(2x)...would a hospital or clinic allow free sunbathing while staying there?...theres a question of credibilty of a realitives story here..i would like some input...thanks folks

Eli, yes, some chemo agents cause an increased sensitivity to sun.

Sun exposure may not necessarily be contraindicated, but care should be taken to use sunscreen liberally to protect exposed skin.
