Yes. There is always a chance that you can get pregnant as long as you are menstruating. While on chemotherapy, your menstrual cycle may become irregular. As a result, you may never quite be sure where you are in your menstrual cycle and your period may take you by surprise. Some of your menstrual cycles may be non-egg producing, but you cannot rely on this. Even if your periods seem to have stopped, you should use a safe and effective method of birth control for at least 4 to 8 weeks after your chemotherapy treatment has ended.

I don't know for a fact, but I wouldn't think pregnancy could be tolerated during chemotherapy. As for surgery, I think any surgery would terminate a pregnancy, considering the anesthetic you'd be given, but surgery on reproductive organs would surely cause miscarriage.

As long as youre menstruating, you can get pregnant. Although, miscarriage is likely on chemo. If you stop menstruating and experience menopausal symptoms, then you cannot get pregnant, its like temporary infertility. After chemo is over you should regain your menstrual cycle as well as your fertility. Basically: menstruation = you can get pregnant. As for the surgery, I dont know. You should really speak to your doctor about this.
