Is it dangerous for an unborn child if the mother is frequently around a man undergoing chemotherapy
asking this for my aunt, all answers welcome.

No. The person undergoing chemo is immunocompromised and susceptible to acquire infections but the people around him should be fine. Think about those devoted oncology nurses who are pregnant and taking care of Cancer patients.

Chemo, no! Radiation possibly. I know that my friends daughter cannot be around her newborn 24 hours after radiation.

I would not think that this would cause any risk to the baby. However if she has any concerns then it may be best to consult a doctor to be 100% certain
