serious Q about chemotherapy?
my mum starts chemo today for breast cancer
there's only so far you can go with just words - I'd like to DO something nice for her
any advice/ideas please?

Often times, chemotherapy makes even the strongest person weak. Maybe, what you can do, aside from being there for her and showing your support is to make her feel as comfortable as possible. If she is weak from the chemotherapy, you can probably give her something that she likes... a favorite food perhaps, or a favorite book. These things can go a long way in letting her feel a bit stronger.
