that is not an apt analogy...

The economy is not some sort of randomly occuring cancer...also if you were told you have a larger than normal chance of getting cancer and you say you don't want chemo...then you become for it when the cancer strikes...then you are a flip flopper and panicked when reality set in.

Depends on your stage of illness doesn't it? If it will only buy time until the inevitable why waste the $$$
