My mother took chemotherapy for months for her breast cancer. ?
Now shes finished but she has very dry eyes which keep pouring tears.. Does anyone with similar experience know how long that lasts for?
She also lost her voice (vocal cords) any idea how long for recovery of that too? Just to have an idea.. thank you so much

Gosh yeah, my eyes were messed up the whole time I was on chemo, and for a couple of weeks afterwards.

I found it started to get better right after chemo stopped. But it still took a couple of weeks until the symptoms decreased. Sometimes the tear ducts get blocked, this can lead to that pouring tears thing you describe. There are massages she can do to help unblock the tear ducts. Try a google search on tear duct blockage.

Didn't have any voice problems though.
