Chemotherapy session lengths?

My dad has stage 4 colon cancer and had surgery to remove the cancer contaminated part of the colon but he still has traces of cancer hence the need to chemo. He is also boarder line diabetic so I was wondering how long these sessions will take? Hes a big guy too, 6'5 200+ if that affects the treatment.
