Quetiapine (Seroquel) questions
I have put on four stone (aobut 50lbs) in four months since taking Seoquel, it has affected my health and mobility.

I have just stopped taking it, but as yet the weight hasn't come off, is there a medicine to help.

Also my breasts have become fuller and tender for about three weeks a month, ever since starting the Seroquel; can it affect the hormones?

I am supposed to take Epilim, as a mood stabiliser, but am afraid to in case of similar problems such as weight gain, especially as I have polycystic ovaries?

Seroquel is a high risk drug! It will put weight on you. It makes you feel like you are hungry constantly. It can cause diabeties. It's very dangerous. There isn't anything that can help you take off the weight, but diet and excersize will. You may want to try to detox your body, to flush out the excess chemicals that are hanging out in the nooks and crannies of your body. Good luck. =D

GET OFF OF IT ASAP! It's a BS drug. I doubled in weight because of that drug (and a few others) Do not trust your doctors, most people on mood stabilizers do not need them. I lost the weight by not eating any food that was bad for me, walking everywhere, and exercising all the time.

I don't have enough time to explain all of the negative things about those types of medications.

The doctors get paid to test meds on people. I found out that I when I was 13, I was taking seroquel before it was approved for children. I was on triple the dose an adult was supposed to get to cure my fidgeting. Thats BS.

I have some long term effects from those drugs as well, tremors, memory loss, fatigue, and heart problems. Do not agree to take tese meds unless you are severely crazy.
