My 200 mg of Seroquel is not putting me to sleep tonight.... Can I take 300
I've been on Seroquel about 6 months and every now and then it doesn't put me to sleep. Would it be safe to go ahead and take 300 mg? It's to late to get in touch with my doctor.

No. Seroquel is not even FDA approved as a sleep aid. I think you should get a second opinion.

It should be alright for tonight. But I would give your doctor a call as soon as you can and just ask him if it's okay if you increase your dosage because you are having a hard time going to sleep. But you need to talk to your doctor.

Best to not do that without doctor's approval. If you are on any other meds you may have a reaction to an increased dose. Just try to get ahold of the doc tomorrow.
