If you read the fine print of just about every medication on the market, it can kill you, cause heart attacks, dizziness, and cause strange hair growth. The drug companies by law have to let consumers know the risks and often people in a study might have died anyway, but they have to report it.
That said, diabetes is a big one with seroquel so you have to really watch what you eat. It can cause some cravings after you take it so you have to recognize that it's the medication making you crave and drink water and eat fruit, etc. I'm on seroquel and so's my husband, both of us for about 8 years, and the good far outweighs the bad. Those disclosures can be very scary, but so can being sick. Good luck!
