The symptoms you are feeling are common when starting an antipsychotic, especially fatigue. Dry mouth is extremely common as well. While the fatigue and dizziness generally subside, dry mouth typically does not. Unfortunately these initial side effects are common in all antipsychotics. Drugs like Seroquel and Abilify which are atypical antipsychotics are supposed to cause them less often. I spent many years on risperidone and haloperidol. It is unlikely that you would be able to tolerate those any better.

I would continue taking it as prescribed. If the fatigue and dizziness do not lapse within a couple of weeks, I would discuss the situation with your physician. Being on the wrong antipsychotic can cause many problems, some of which can be permanent.

In addition to what Tigerlily said, you can talk to your doctor on whatever he could recommend to manage the side effects. I'm sure your doctor would appreciate that you are finding ways to manage the side effects & be able to tolerate the drug better rather that stop taking the drug without doctor's consent.
