i was on 2.5 mg before and it didn't work, and i do not have bi polar or schizophrenia.
i told the doctor it hasn't done anything for my sever anxiety so why have they prescirbed it to me again and now for 5mg.

Xyprexa is a very effective drug for anxiety. Don't let the labels scare you that say schizophrenia and bi-polar. Many drugs are found to ''multitask' with minimal side effects. But all these drugs need to be started at a low dose (you are taking a baby dose) and slowly increased which is what your doctor is doing. I know we all want instant results but please be patient with your medications because it takes a while for some to work effectively with the least amount of side effects.
Your right Zypreka is for bi polar or schizophrenia.
Xanax, Klonopin, and Lexapro are good anxiety medications. Many doctors hate to prescribe Xanax and Klonopin because it is addictive, but it works!
I have switched doctors multiple times until I found one that would help my anxiety with the right medication. Don't be afraid to switch doctors and when you do tell them the reason.
