risperidone is quite a sedating drug and even though it is a low dose you are on,your body has obviously become used to it to get you to sleep.just take it and you will sleep

Your system is accustomed to being more or less forced to put you to sleep. Your body becomes addicted to Risperidone even though you don't abuse it. You need to see your psychiatrist as he can help you wean slowly off of it so that you can get to sleep naturally. This is not a medication that you stop abruptly this can be dangerous and can cause withdrawal symptoms. You need your doctor's help with this you can't do it alone.
