There's no known adverse interaction between the two drugs. However, both can cause drowsiness so make sure you don't take both in the morning as not to be too drowsy throughout the day.
Just an FYI. They have a great resource for checking drug interactions over at drugs.com. Just select "Interactions Checker" (third choice) on the blue navigation bar under the site logo and enter the medications you have concerns about. My favorite feature of the their drug checker is that you can put in all the medicines you are concerned about on one list and it checks for interactions among them all.

The seroquel will override everything. It is a hundred-thousand times more powerful than dayquil or nyquil. It will put you to sleep, regardless.
I know this thread is over two years old but maybe the info can help somebody else wondering the same thing. I take 200mgs of Seroquel nightly and I've just recently had a cold. The doctor only prescribed an antibiotic for some reason so I had to get my own over the counter stuff for the runny nose and congestion. I didn't experience any extra drowsiness during the day and at night when I took my Seroquel it made me just as drowsy and gave me just as good a nights sleep as whether I took cold meds or not.

Actually someone who has been on Seroquel for some time could take the two without anything 'overridding' the other so to speak. The body and brain adapts to the exogenous medication,.. and the sedation becomes less marked. The dayquil should not cause any drowsiness as it is either psueudoephedrine with D. succinate, or phenylalanine (PE).. both stimulants.
Albeit PE SUCKSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS SSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS SSSSSSSSSSSSS
SUCKS... It has been proven to not even be effective.
And I believe you got the wrong PE on there... Phenylephrine is the one in most cold PE formulas, not phenylalanine - that comes as a supplement or from titty milk.
LOL
I should have qualified that statement. The seroquel is 50 times more potent than benadryl in terms of its antihistamine effect, according to an according in medscape. And for a relative seroquel neophyte such as myself, it will override everything.
