lostindarkenss is on a distinguished road
Zyprexa is being sued in MA is it possible to get help
has any one heard about this drug being sued? I knew someone taking it during chemotherapy and urged them not to because of the vomit side affects - one would think a doctor wouldn't prescribe during such a heavy process of radiation being dumped into your body!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

* akathisia inability to remain still
* dry mouth
* dizziness
* sedation
* insomnia
* Urinary Retention inability to pass urine, can lead to cathterisation if treatment isn't stopped
* orthostatic hypotension
* weight gain (90% of users experience weight gain) (see below)
* increased appetite
* runny nose
* low blood pressure
* impaired judgment, thinking, and motor skills
* impaired spatial orientation
* impaired responses to senses
* seizure
* trouble swallowing
* dental problems and discoloration of teeth
* missed periods
* problems with keeping body temperature regulated
* apathy, lack of emotion
They are sueing for some where around 300,000 or something - is she entitled to anything? She stopped taking it a while ago

Actually, it's not just in MA, in fact Eli Lilly (the manufacturer of Zyprexa) was ordered to pay $62 million to 32 states due to improper marketing. It was proven that Eli Lilly was promoting Zyprexa for uses not approved by the FDA for the said drug.

I'm not sure if your friend's entitled to claim since we don't have all the details. It would be best for the person herself to consult it legally.
