i have had a bad headake , cough, had this since sunday evening. been prescribed tamiflu shud i take them
also had hot and cold sweats. helppp. feel really rubbish

should you take them? are you kidding? why did you bother to go to the doctor if you aren't going to do what he tells you to do? that would be a waste of his time and your money. YES, TAKE THE TAMIFLU, stay home until your symptoms are gone so you don't go spreading your illness to others.

I agree with the above post. You should follow the prescription your doctor gave you. The meds will help you get better faster. Also follow recommended infection control procedures such as limiting contact with other people, frequently washing hands, etc. Patients with the flu are advised to stay at home for 5 to 7 days. It doesn't mean that your symptoms are gone, it's OK to leave the house since you can still pass the virus around to others.
