At 34 weeks your baby is fully formed, so it isn't going to cause birth defects. Do you really think your doctor would knowingly prescribe a medication to you if it caused birth defects? Anything they give you in pregnancy is given when they know the benefits of taking it outweight the risks. They err on the side of caution when a pregnancy is involved.

Tamiflu studies on animals relate to times when the fetus came out deformed. It is only recommended if necessary. At 34 weeks, since it relates to deformity and not stillbirths, I would say you would be fine, but call the local pharmacist. I had an OB give me a drug that cause stillbirths and was not necessary at all.

I just saw that on the news. But it was the other way around. The doctors did not give her tamiflu when she had the swine flu and almost killed the baby. I would trust my doctors. But just make sure you are healthy when you take it.
write down the different things you are feeling and report it to your doc it may be used in a law suite one day.

If your drs prescribed it and they know your pregnant then the benefits probably outway the risks. Tamiflu is used for influenza so im assuming you had a positive nasal swab or something, possibly type a??? Influenza can be dangerous, they are probably even consider about the swine flu strain so i would trust your dr on this one
