Tamiflu making me sick :( Think i would have been better off without it..anyone else had this
they say it only effects 10% of its takers. YEAH RIGHT!
almost everyone i know who has taken it has thrown up after 48 hours of being on the drug.

I feel worse now im on it than i ever did before! Personally, i think they are too quick to diagnose. Id much rather have got through the symptoms i was having by taking paracetemol and drinking lots of water, rather than taking this. i was very sick last night.

has anyone else had this??
ive been on the drug since monday night now, i have 4 tablets left to take now..
do you think it should start easing off?
I was feeling sick the past few days, and was sick about 3-4 times last night.
im hoping to god the worst is now over..any advice?

It made me worse, it gave me headaches and feel sick.
I stopped taking it after 3 days and recovered faster.

Take it with food while you are eating. You wont have that side effect.

tamiflu will make you ill if you don't have h1n1, there's no sure way of telling if you do have swine flu unless you have a blood test, it could just be normal flu, stop taking the tamiflu if it's making you feel worse. government are so stupid

It is a common side effect of Tamiflu....sorry, no other good news on that score.

i have swine flu at the moment and my doctor told me that the tamiflu doesn't help all it does is reduces the flu by 1 day and their is no point of it as it does make you sick. i think you should phone your doctor up and discuss with them as they will know best, Good luck

Just don't take anymore, if you're a fit and healthy person, then they shouldn't have given you the drugs to begin with!!

Tamiflu is awful stuff!
I am 9 weeks pregnant and was exposed to someone who may or may NOT have had H1N1. The doctors in the small town my nephew lives in are honestly quacks and I understand they are now designating kids with H1N1 if they have symptoms of flu, but because they feel it is not "flu season" it couldn't possibly be the normal flu (uh, did someone tell the flu it wasn't it's turn or something?). His symptoms were NOT consistent with what they tell you to look out for with H1N1, but they're treating him as such nonetheless. In my case, because I am pregnant, my OB wanted to put me on Tamiflu as a preventative - I have had NO symptoms to date of a suspected H1N1 or any other flu. I was hesitant to take it, but was convinced to do so anyway. Literally within 30-45 minutes of taking it, my otherwise normal morning sickness puking became a ridiculous, uncontrollable bout of vomiting. It was HORRIBLE! After getting it completely out of my symptom, taking a short nap and eating some soup, I began to feel completely normal. I have decided to discontinue the Tamiflu completely. I do NOT recommend it as a way to AVOID getting H1N1 at ALL!
