Should Alan Johnson sell the UK's supply of Tamiflu as a job lot on ebay
I don't blame the government for spreading flu, these things happen no matter who is in office. I don't blame Johnson for following the advice of the Chief Medical Officer - one is a doctor, the other is not. But it may be time to admit this tactic failed, and undertake to never repeat the mistake. Tamiflu seemingly shortens illness by an average of one single day!
The problem with politicians is they will never admit their mistakes, even if it means their denial will lead to suffering and even deaths. Their strategy of letting swine flu rip and then dishing out Tamiflu has failed miserably. But admit they are wrong? Never!
The same with other issues, such as equipment shortages in the Afghan and Iraq campaigns. Such as the NHS IT systems which has led to confusion in appointments, lost notes, compromised security, etc. Such as PFI, credit crunch, etc.
Nobody with any sense would buy it,i knew there were problems with it 4 months ago and they were still pushing it out.You are better just resting and taking plenty of liquids.
