I'm 18 and my last period was 48 days ago.however im a virgin so im know im not pregnant. So i did some research and is says that meds can cause a period to be missed. I took 1 Tamiflu last month for about 5 days cause my parents had the flu. And i have also taken Tetracycline for a little while. Don't know if that has anything to do with this missed period so if somebody could tell me something that would be nice
There is a posibility of some drugs do interfere with the monthly cycle. However if you're sure you cant be pregnant, you have nothing to worry about. Cycle do tend to change at time. There might be a delay this time. Dont worry.
Some antibiotics impair the blood picture and result in amenorrhea and as such you will find a delay in appearance of the periods till the body balances out. Tamiflu doesn't seem to affect the menstrual cycle.

Also had 5 days of tamiflu on day 10 of my cycle and still no period after 40 days. Definately not pregnant.
Are there any new data about tamiflu and delayed periods?
