hypokalemia
What kind of meds can lead to hypokalemia (low blood potassium levels)? Are there any particulars that you've read about, or even general types?

There are certain medications that can lead to hypokalemia. they include some antibiotics such as amphotericin B, carbenicillin, and gentamicin, and diuretics, which can cause an increase in urination, therefore lowering levels of potassium and other electrolytes in the blood. A specific substance in licorice may also cause hypokalemia.

Hope this helps.
